UI/UX Designer

What you will do
- Design and ship product features across web and mobile applications for global clients and industries.
- Lead discovery activities, including user interviews, stakeholder workshops, heuristic evaluations, and journey mapping.
- Translate insights into structured UX outputs such as user flows, information architectures, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Create polished, responsive UI designs in Figma, leveraging components, variants, tokens, and design systems.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and smooth engineering handoff.
- Prototype and test ideas early, validating concepts before development and iterating based on data and feedback.
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers, BAs, Engineers, QA, and other designers in an agile environment.
- Support implementation quality, ensuring final delivered features reflect design intent.
- Design for complex domains, including scheduling flows, onboarding, payments, integrations, and AI-assisted user experiences.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to raising design maturity across Authority Partners.
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, ideally in product teams or consultancy environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design, from research findings to final UI and shipped features.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, auto-layout, variants, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UX methodologies: personas, journey maps, IA, wireframes, usability testing.
- Excellent visual design skills, with strong command of typography, spacing, grids, and interaction patterns.
- Ability to design accessible, modern, responsive interfaces following industry standards (WCAG).
- Strong communication skills — capable of explaining design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complexity with high attention to detail.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience designing two-sided marketplaces, enterprise products, or multi-role workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-powered features or conversational interfaces.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to enhance collaboration with engineering.
- Experience with analytics tools and data-informed design.
- Exposure to video, streaming, scheduling, or real-time collaboration interfaces.
- Experience contributing to or building large-scale design systems.
