Authority Partners is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong security expertise to oversee the delivery of mission-critical initiatives. This role requires someone who can balance traditional project management with the unique demands of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management.
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Leading security-focused project delivery, from planning and design to implementation.
- Driving team execution and delivery management, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely outcomes.
- Coordinating across security architects, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and reporting against strict security and compliance standards.
- Identifying and escalating risks specific to cyber threats, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring projects balance security best practices with business agility.
- Serving as the client’s trusted advisor on both delivery and governance.
You will stand out if you have:
- 7+ years of IT project management, including significant work in cybersecurity projects.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, or SOC2.
- Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, and cloud security.
- Experience managing compliance and audit-driven initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead projects where risk and resilience are at the forefront.
- PMP, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are a major plus.
