Delivery manager

Sarajevo (hybrid), or remote within Bosnia and Herzegovina
Authority Partners is seeking a Delivery Manager to join our dynamic, global team as part of the PMO. This is a hybrid role that combines program leadership with Agile team facilitation. You will oversee client engagement, program planning, and delivery execution, while also supporting Agile teams as a hands-on leader.
In this role, you will ensure alignment between business goals, delivery teams, and stakeholders through effective communication, progress tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are seeking a results-driven leader who excels in complex environments, possesses a strong understanding of Agile and software development practices, and can drive both strategic program objectives and day-to-day delivery success.
 
Key Responsibilities
Program & Client Management
  • Lead all client communications and act as the primary point of contact for program-level topics
  • Drive program planning, coordination, and reporting to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Track and report on program-level KPIs, delivery metrics, budgets, and capacity utilization
  • Identify and manage risks and issues at both team and program levels, escalating where necessary
  • Coordinate project elaborations, SOWs, and support new project negotiation processes
  • Align delivery teams and business stakeholders to program goals and ensure visibility of the overall roadmap
  • Track and validate invoicing data and support operational efficiency
  • Spot and capitalize on opportunities for business or program growth
 
Agile Delivery Facilitation
  • Able to serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Able to coach teams on Agile frameworks and guide them towards higher maturity levels
  • Remove impediments that block the team’s progress and foster a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Ensure backlog health, effort estimation, sprint progress, and time tracking are properly maintained
  • Promote Agile values, iterative thinking, and continuous delivery across all levels of the organization
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the program and support Agile process adoption
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and other delivery stakeholders
 
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience leading IT projects and programs
  • Proven experience in managing complex, multi-team Agile programs with international clients
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the software development life cycle
  • Excellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
  • Strong budgeting, reporting, and analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, or similar relevant certifications
  • Previous experience in a technical role (Software Developer, QA, or Technical Consultant)
  • Experience with Agile coaching or process improvement initiatives
