DevOps Architect
Houston, TexasAuthority Partners is actively searching for a DevOps Architect to become an integral part of our dynamic global team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining large-scale distributed systems and leading the team of talented DevOps engineers.
As we embark on a significant architectural restructuring of a large-scale application and transition to new technologies, we are looking for someone with extensive expertise in Cloud, Kubernetes and Containers. If you have a proven track record in handling heavy DevOps responsibilities and are passionate about contributing to transformative projects, we believe you could be the perfect fit for this exciting opportunity.
You will be a part of the team that works together on the daily, in a collaborative, friendly, tech-obsessed environment.

You will stand out if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field would be of great value, but if you’re passionate and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent outweighs degree every time.

Preferably to work on-site, with option of working remotely with occasional on-site visits.

You will stand out if you have:
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices
- In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle
- Understanding of general-purpose programming languages and coding best practices
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps
- Extensive experience with Cloud, Kubernetes and Containers
- SonarQube, Veracode, Prometheus, and Grafana experience/exposure
- Understanding of Ansible
- Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Expert-level understanding of build processes, CI/CD, Git, release pipelines
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Proactivity - a focus on getting things done, with strong attention to detail
- Linux Administration
- Experience with Microservices
