Description:
Authority Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, with specific expertise in Power BI, PowerQuery, Azure SQL, SQL Server, ETL, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities:
•    Design and implement data pipelines to support business and data analysis needs
•    Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness
•    Optimize data pipeline performance to improve data flow and reduce processing time
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions
•    Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement solutions as needed
•    Provide support and training to other team members on data pipeline tools and technologies
•    Continuously improve data quality and data governance processes

Qualifications:
•    Proficiency in Power BI, PowerQuery, Azure SQL, SQL Server, ETL, and data pipelines
•    Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design
•    Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures
•    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data pipeline issues
•    Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
•    Optional knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, QuickBase
•    Experience with cloud-based platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS
•    Strong coding skills in languages like Python and SQL
•    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•    Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
•    Experience with Git and version control systems is a plus

Education:
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
•    Strongly preferred a master's degree in Computer Science or related field
